Wethele ManorNeil & Georgia

After the hardest week of Georgia & Neil’s life from her late dad passing just days before the wedding, they both made the decision to carry on despite the heartache, and enjoy their day as her dad would have wanted them to. Georgia had organised the most amazing balloon release in honour of her father Pete. It was so beautiful, and a wonderful tribute to him.

Both Georgia and her mum had planned the whole wedding to perfection, and thought of absolutely EVERYTHING! The day was organised to ensure everybody had the most amazing day; which included an ice cream cart, outdoor games, a string quartet, and flowing booze which is always a winner with guests.

I need to give a shout out to the florist ‘Bumble & Wild’ who produced some exquisite bouquets and dressed the venue beautifully! https://www.bumbleandwild.co.uk/

They did an impeccable job, and kept busily working through the August showers we experienced through the morning of the wedding.

Georgia looked absolutely stunning, so much so Neil couldn’t keep his eyes off her! He was one very proud husband.

Georgia is the kindest, most thoughtful person I’ve had the pleasure to work for. I was included in all the favours, and sat down to a full 3 course lunch; she was so attentive asking me if I needed anything. I had such a great time at the wedding, I really do have the best job in the world, and it was an absolute pleasure to be there.

Here’s a snippet of their very special day, I hope they rekindle your wonderful memories. X

Cliffie & SarahHeath House

…welcoming back Cliffie & Sarah from their amazing honeymoon at the Dominican Republic *virtual wave*

After 4 blissful years together  Cliffie decided to pop the question in Central Park, NY on a row boat, *swoon*!

They envisaged their venue to be at a manor house with a marquee. As soon as they saw ‘Heath House’ it took their breath away, and Justin & Sophie who own the house were so lovely and welcoming. They have two gorgeous pooches that also greeted them at the door which sealed the deal!

The excitement from Sarah was amazing to witness the morning of her wedding. There were no nerves, she just could not wait to marry the love of her life.

As Cliffie is from South Africa it was so important for them both to have all the family together to celebrate. It was so overwhelming for Cliffie as he lives so far from home, and for this very special occasion home came to him to be by his side.

I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and that these pictures re-ignite the memories of your wonderful day.

X

Mr & Mrs BurrowsThe Bond Company

After 7 years together Michael & Georgia decided to tie the knot on the breath-taking island of  Santorini!

They had such an incredible time, and organised a wedding party back in the UK to celebrate with their nearest and dearest.
They had picked The Bond Company in Birmingham as their venue as they wanted something with quirky feel with character. It was a great venue, and somewhere I could really sink my teeth into creatively.

‘The Bond’ organised outdoor BBQ food, and Georgia busily decorated the venue the morning of the party. The Band were ‘The Commonjets’ and I would fully recommend them. They had everyone up and dancing shaking their ‘thang’. They got the party started with people screaming for an encore after they had finished their set.

Georgia looked absolutely stunning, and was an absolute dream to photograph. Michael looked very dapper with his two sons in tow stealing the show. It was so lovely to see such a close knit family, and all the love that surrounds them. I’m photographing her best friends wedding next week so I’m looking forward to a big catch up!

Wising Michael and Georgia the most amazing future together. This is where it all adventure begins <3

Jenny & SebHappy Valley Venue Visit

If I book a wedding at a venue that I haven’t photographed before then I like to visit to have a scope around, and have a general catch up with the bride and groom to be!

It just so happens that Seb & Jenny have decided to get married in a slice of heaven at a place called ‘Happy Valley’ on the Welsh Coast. (The name says it all.)

It was a perfect time to go, with daffs covering the ground, and bouncy new born lambs climbing the hills. We picked a beautiful March day to look around, and I’m hoping the weather gods are with us so that their September beach wedding will surpass the beautiful weather we had yesterday.

We had a walk across the beach with their very cute pooches, and yes the feet were out so I could feel the sand between my toes. Living in the centre of the country really makes a beach visit super special. We stopped between venues to taste some welsh ale, welsh cakes & welsh butter; a combo I would recommend to anyone!

I can’t wait for their big day, it will be a dream to photograph. I can’t remember the last time I looked into my rear mirror so much when leaving a place.

…I’m such a lucky gal x

CornwallWhitsand Bay : Cawsands

I went to visit family in Cornwall and thought I’d share my mini-break snaps!!

Never too far from my camera and with the opportunity to be in a place where light is minimal, I did a spot of star gazing. There was a fair amount of cloud cover, but I actually really like the effect as they unveil the stars in parts of the sky…

As part of the trip we visited the gorgeous beach at Whitsand Bay. To get to the beach is a long, steep path where you pass hobbit sized shabby sheek chalets hidden in the cliff face. It was an instant hit, and it is now on my bucket list to stay in one of those chalets and stare at the sea all day! The view is incredible, and even though I’m not a morning person I wouldn’t want to miss the sunrise.

Ore & Portia tie the knot!

I was so honoured to photograph Ore & Portia’s wedding, and best of all …I had so much fun doing it!

Ore (the most organised groom of all time) is an old friend of mine from University, so I just couldn’t wait to make him proud and photograph the best day of his life. The first time I met Portia she made me feel like I had known her for years. A perfectly matched couple, both radiating love for each other, a beautiful sight for anyone to see.

Ross & Caroline...Forest of Arden

Ah, sweet newly wedded couples simply radiate love; it was such a pleasure to witness two people madly in love tie the knot.

Ross & Caroline had planned their wedding to perfection, picking their dream venue the ‘Forest of Arden’ to fulfil their grand expectations. Although located very near to me, I hadn’t had the chance to photograph at the venue. Being my first ‘Forest of Arden’ wedding, I checked out the grounds a few weeks prior to the wedding with Ross & Caroline. It was so lovely to catch up with them, set in stone all the timings and photography ideas for the big day!
