Before I start, I need to rep all the suppliers…
As Seb & Jenny are both free loving spirits I just knew they would be amazing to photograph for. I met with them both earlier on in the year to visit the venue, and I instantly understood why they both enjoyed spending any spare moment they had at Happy Valley.
Happy Valley on the welsh coast is where Jenny grew up and is her Nans secret hide away. With Jens nan being poorly over the last few years she wanted to pick somewhere which she meant a lot to her and the family. Since the first time she brought Seb to the cottage he fell in love with it, and together they couldn’t imagine anywhere else to say ‘I do’.
Raj & Steph started their relationship as best friends until blossoming into a beautiful romance. 3 years into their relationship Raj popped the question with a cute treasure hunt for Steph to find Raj upstairs surrounded by candles holding a sparkling engagement ring; which she quickly said yes to before blowing out the huge fire hazard he had created!
…welcoming back Cliffie & Sarah from their amazing honeymoon at the Dominican Republic *virtual wave*
After 4 blissful years together Cliffie decided to pop the question in Central Park, NY on a row boat, *swoon*!
They envisaged their venue to be at a manor house with a marquee. As soon as they saw ‘Heath House’ it took their breath away, and Justin & Sophie who own the house were so lovely and welcoming. They have two gorgeous pooches that also greeted them at the door which sealed the deal!
The excitement from Sarah was amazing to witness the morning of her wedding. There were no nerves, she just could not wait to marry the love of her life.
As Cliffie is from South Africa it was so important for them both to have all the family together to celebrate. It was so overwhelming for Cliffie as he lives so far from home, and for this very special occasion home came to him to be by his side.
I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and that these pictures re-ignite the memories of your wonderful day.

Caroline & Wayne tied the knot at Stonebridge Golf Club, Meriden on the 20th May.
They unbelievably WON their wedding at a wedding fayre, and as their gifts to everyone they enclosed in an envelope a scratch card with a penny to spread their luck to all their guests.
If I book a wedding at a venue that I haven’t photographed before then I like to visit to have a scope around, and have a general catch up with the bride and groom to be!
It just so happens that Seb & Jenny have decided to get married in a slice of heaven at a place called ‘Happy Valley’ on the Welsh Coast. (The name says it all.)
It was a perfect time to go, with daffs covering the ground, and bouncy new born lambs climbing the hills. We picked a beautiful March day to look around, and I’m hoping the weather gods are with us so that their September beach wedding will surpass the beautiful weather we had yesterday.
We had a walk across the beach with their very cute pooches, and yes the feet were out so I could feel the sand between my toes. Living in the centre of the country really makes a beach visit super special. We stopped between venues to taste some welsh ale, welsh cakes & welsh butter; a combo I would recommend to anyone!
I can’t wait for their big day, it will be a dream to photograph. I can’t remember the last time I looked into my rear mirror so much when leaving a place.
…I’m such a lucky gal x
