Before I start, I need to rep all the suppliers…
Here’s a little snippet of Michelle & Pauls’ wedding reception at High House in Fillongley! Michelle & Paul were blessed with 30 degree + weather, and were able to use High House more as holiday home than a wedding reception!
They have been together for over 20 years, but only recently decided to tie the knot. The most important aspect of their wedding day was that all the family could get together and have the most amazing weekend – which they did!

Erin & Micky tied the knot on Sunday, and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you all!
After the “ten year” trial as Micky liked to call it, he proposed at their home around Christmas time. They have a gorgeous daughter Darcy together who was full of smiles & cheeky laughs all day.
Erin & Micky picked Shustoke for their wedding venue because they loved the Theatre and setting of the building. Shustoke is a favourite venue of mine, and with the sun beaming through the large window panes it just brought the whole place to life.
The main priority for them both was for everyone to enjoy themselves, and they certainly did! For entertainment they had Jamie Sheerman singing during the drinks reception, whilst the Rubix Cube master ‘Slightly Unusual Magician’ had everyone in awe and fits of laughter. In the evening they had the super talented ‘Edison’ who had the dancefloor packed out throughout their sets.
It’s safe to say that a strong part of my excitement for photographing at Shustoke is not just the setting, but also for the food. BBQ cooked fillets of steak – is there any more to say? I love their rustic style of cooking, the food is undeniably the best I’ve ever tasted at a wedding venue.
Erin and I spent a couple of years studying Art & Design over *cough* ten years ago, and I would never have imagined that I would be photographing the most important day of her life back then painting together in a classroom! It was a wonderful day, and I was privileged to be a part of it. Micky & Erin were so lovely to be around and I wish them a wonderful honeymoon in Torreviejca.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Moore, your day was perfect xx
Caroline & Wayne tied the knot at Stonebridge Golf Club, Meriden on the 20th May.
They unbelievably WON their wedding at a wedding fayre, and as their gifts to everyone they enclosed in an envelope a scratch card with a penny to spread their luck to all their guests.
Not my first wedding at this venue, and hopefully not my last. Lincoln Cathedral demands such respect, and totally encapsulates me when I walk around it.
When Lee & Laura asked me to photograph their wedding, and to be at the Lincoln Hotel I was thrilled to bits!
I had previously photographed Jason’s wedding(Lees brother), so I felt like part of the family photographing for them again. Jason’s wife Gemma has made a business from her love of wedding styling, so I passed her briefly the morning of the wedding as she was busy setting up the hotel for Lee & Laura. Gemma has a wonderful & successful business; https://www.savethedateeventstylist.com/ A lot of the items you see in the blog are what Gemma has supplied to make the surroundings a sparkling luxurious dream. Avid Harry Potter fans Lee & Laura added a splash of HP magic with hidden messages only true fans would spot!
Anna & Chris got hitched!! A wedding I was so looking forward to for so many reasons, …and it certainly didn’t disappoint!
It marked for me the last wedding of the crazy summer wedding season, and it ended with a bang… ***Fireworks Galore***
I was sooooo looking forward to this wedding!
Edward is an old school friend of mine, and I believe his parents still have video footage of us dancing around in comical outfits from our school era.
It’s a real honour when you haven’t seen someone in such a long time, and they pick you to photograph the most important day of their life.
Edward & Emily have relocated to Australia – living the dream- and came back to Warwickshire where they both grew up, to get married.
They chose Sherbourne Park as their venue; it was an epic choice.
Shustoke Barn has become an ultimate favourite venue of mine!
An organised venue with a creative flare, the wedding coordinators sure do know their stuff.
I’ve photographed this venue rain & shine, and it’s no biggy as the Shustoke building with all its character just keeps on giving!
There was a ‘pitter patter’ of rain for Kate & Mikes wedding, however nothing dampened their spirits as we hoisted up Kate’s dress and ventured out to catch the last of the sun from the neighbouring field.
Roaring bonfires, barbequed steak and spring flowers teamed with a truck load of hessian, created a vision of effortless, rustic wedding heaven.
