After 4 and a half years together Henry & Ellie decided to put a ring on it & make it official after a proposal on a dog walk at Warwick Racecourse (on a bench where they had their first kisses). Sometimes you really do get lucky with working for the best people. and Henry & Ellie were that couple! Over the years I get to work with many fantastic couples, and I will always remember Henry & Ellie giggling their way through their wedding day. An absolute pleasure to be around.
Both not lovers of photographs said, “You came to us highly recommended from so many people, and exceeded all expectations (and then some!). You have managed to perform a miracle of producing beautiful shots of two people who hate photos.”
I’d say 80% of my B&G’s are haters of having their pictures taken, along with most of the country! I feel like sometimes I’m the most hated person at a wedding, (haha) …I just have to encourage my clients to ignore me for most of the day, and just trust that I will capture all the big, little moments & everything in-between perfectly for them.
Not my first – and definitely not my last wedding at Wethele Manor, a very relaxed family run venue surrounded by gorgeous countryside is what Ellie & Henry loved about the venue, and felt it reflected their personalities perfectly.
The couple said that all they hoped for their big day was “for everyone to enjoy themselves, lots of food, booze and laughter!” …and that they did! I felt a very strong family focus amongst the wedding, and felt very honoured to be present at such a close group of guests.
Welcome back from your honeymoon in the Maldives Mrs & Mrs Horsfall, a massive congratulations to you both! Thank you for being so amazing to work for… x
